MIXING PLANT

The mixing plant is a essential installation to obtain derivatives based on Plaster or Anhydrite, from calcining gypsum -CaSO4+2H2O- in a direct fire or in a indirect fire kiln.

In the mixing plant, the majority products such us Plaster (Semihydrate CaSO4+½H2O), Anhydrite II (CaSO4), Lime, Calcium carbonate, Perlite, Vermiculite, and so on, are weighed after another, separately from the additives, which are dosed one by one, or premixed, in another weighing unit for introducing afterwards inside the mixer.

Once mixed all the products, they are discharged in a Hopper under the mixer, and then they are conveyed to a storage silo or to a bagging/packaging and palletising zone.

In the mixing plant TRC-MONTERDE, the obtained products are, for example:

  • Manual plaster with enlarged and controlled setting time.

  • Manual plaster with enlarged and controlled setting time, lightened with perlite.
  • Plaster to be applied mechanically.

  • Plaster to be applied mechanically, lightened with Perlite.

  • Plaster for fireproof passive protection.

  • Finishing plaster.

  • Plaster paste in powder.

  • Carbonate paste.

  • Self-leveling floor with Anhydrite II.

The mixers MONTERDE are designed to mix other products not plaster neither anhydrite II based; so long as they are powder or granulated up 1mm products.

A Screw Conveyor, is a machine designed to transport products such as Plaster, Plaster of Paris, or Anhydrite II, that have been calcined  in either direct or indirect fire kilns.

It is also used for dosing, in a controlled and accurate way, in mixing plants.

Basically the ScrewConveyor is classified by its housing, either tubular, metallic or civil workthrough.

It is composed of the following parts:

  • Helicoid made of steel.

  • Housing where the helicoid is mounted.

  • Shafts on both ends mounted on bearings.

  • Labyrinth and packing seals to prevent dust leaks from the housing ends.

  • Driven  by a direct or indirect motor-gearbox.

  • Cleaning doors at the bottom.

  • Inspection doors on the top.

  • Sample point nozzle.

  • Drive safety covers and inspection doors safety grid.

The Screw Conveyor MONTERDE is designed for the transport and dosing of any product in powder (carbonate, clay, arids, and so on…).

Rotative Valve

The Rotative Valve, is a machine designed for unloading storage units, such us hoppers or silos, in a controlled way, and keeping the tightness in them, or in the equiptment feed. They are specially indicated for dehydrated mineral Plaster, Anhydrite and also for the dosage of Perlite.

It is composed by the following parts:

  • Motor-gearbox, and direct pinion-chain drive.
  • A casing made of cast gray-iron.
  • A rotor with steel blades.
  • A detachable safety cover for the drive.

MONTERDE Rotative Valves are valid for any product, granulated, fine or powder.
