BAG FILTER

A Bag Filter is a equiptment designed for dedusting the gases from the kiln at temperatures from 90 to 110 degrees C, avoiding the emission of dust to the enviroment through the stack. It is made of steel plates, and it is insulated with a low-density rock-wool shield.

iptment designed for dedusting the gases from the kiln at temperatures from 90 to 110 degrees C, avoiding the emission of dust to the enviroment through the stack. It is made of steel plates, and it is insulated with a low-density rock-wool shield.

The bag filter size is calculated to obtain a low can velocity and it has these parts:

  • Cylindrical bags of punched fabric.

  • Bags support made of Steel.

  • Electronic device that controls the cleaning compressed air through the valves.

  • Expansion and dust collection chamber at the inlet of the bag filter.

  • Clean air chamber with gas outlet.

  • Hopper for receiving dust retained on the bags, with inspection door.

  • Deflectors at the inlet for protecting the bags.

  • Butterfly valve to allow the entry of cold air inside the filter, driven by a pneumatic piston and controlled by a PID that opens and closes it automatically, in order to keep a stable temperature in the filter and in the process.

  • Fan to force the flow of gas through the bag filter.

The bag filters MONTERDE are not just designed for Plaster, Plaster of Paris, Anhydrite or Perlite, but for dedusting of grinding and screening systems, calcining and drying of several products, and so on…
